Depending on the position education may or may not be a requirement. Human resources jobs are available without education. For positions most often titled human resources assistant and human resources coordinator typically require only a high school diploma or equivalency. However, for human resource management positions or generalist positions a bachelor’s degree as well as work experience in the human resources field is necessary. This is typically because of the job description and the duties that they are responsible for. Often they are responsible for counseling as well as policy writing.
